For IF: Deliver in Michel's fixative- available in Surgical Pathology.
For EM: Deliver in Glutaraldehyde fixative - available in Surgical Pathology.
Both specimens should be delivered immediately to Surgical Pathology.
Test should not be performed on holidays/weekends.

Light microscopy - H&E, PAS, trichrome, Jones silver, & Congo red - deliver in 10% formalin prefilled container.
Immunofluorescence: IgG, IgA, IgM, C1q, C3, albumin, fibrinogen, kappa, lambda and C4d (transplant) |
